There is a clear need for new housing locally, to assist Eastleigh Borough Council with its 5 year housing land supply shortfall, in turn helping to meet the government objective of 1.5 million new homes.

The layout is designed to retain trees and vegetation wherever possible, with green corridors and buffers incorporated into the masterplan.
Development of these land parcels would result in contributions towards local infrastructure. These 'S106' financial contributions are paid by the developer, to help Councils / public bodies deliver the infrastructure needed to support development in the area. This includes payments towards transport, schools, hospitals and other health and social care facilities, together with water companies, and more.
